Notes:

  1. Polish and tie your tie the night before, no time in the morning.

  2. Practice your choir part at least once to make sure you haven't forgotten it. Get your choir file in order, use paper clips to make sure everything is secure.

  3. Sleep early and wake up extra early to get breakfast in you the next morning. Breakfast is not provided.

7.00am Depart (WARNING: we cannot wait past 7am or we will miss our ferry so come earlier)

SUBSCRIPTION FEES IS DUE

Senior section: You must pay your subscription fees to your sq leader by THIS SATURDAY (11 May) as this confirms you as a member of BB8PJ and you will be covered under insurance.

If you are not continuing in 8PJ company and will not be paying subscription fees, you must hand in a resignation form. It is available on the website.

New process on study leave application

Starting this week, ALL applications of study leave must be done via handing in a physical form which you can print from the BB8PJ website.

Process:
1. Download and print study leave form
2. Fill in details, get parents' signature
3. Submit ONE PARADE BEFORE the week you are on leave

Upon approval, this gets you 1 attendance mark.

If you:

1. Apply for study leave via the online form submission
2. Apply on or after the week you are on leave

you will not get any attendance marks.

The online form is only for sick leave and school/special events. Be detailed about what event you have as we may or may not approve your leave.

Plan your studies ahead of time and think about whether you actually need to apply for leave.

Remember that not handing in leave forms = poor attendance record = no badges on E&A and ineligibility for promotion.

Senior Sect Gasing Hill Hike


Senior section will be hiking Gasing hill on the 19th of May (just 2 weeks from now) to prepare for survival camp. On 19th May you MUST bring:


1. Your survival camp backpack (refer to WO Weng Ian's earlier post),


2. Three 1.5L bottles to be filled with water.



If you are not going for camp and don't have a camp backpack, bring the bottles and use a regular backpack that can fit the three bottles.
