COMPANY: 2026 Haze Protocol

Due to the current haze condition in Malaysia, BB8PJ will adopt the following haze protocol for our regular Saturday parades in line with the Malaysian National Haze Action Plan:

AQI at 200 or above

Parades will be called off if the AQI is at 200 or above. We will check for the AQI reading at the Air Pollution in Malaysia: Real-time Air Quality Index Visual Map website (https://aqicn.org/map/malaysia/) at 8.00am on Saturday morning. If the AQI reading is at 200 or above, parade is automatically called off. Otherwise, it will continue as usual. The main page also contains an informational widget with live AQI numbers for Petaling Jaya.

AQI below 200

In the event the parade resumes (AQI below 200), all outdoor activities will be called off if the AQI is above 100. We will conduct all our activities indoor.

Communications

We will post all the updates on our Facebook, Instagram and Website. The respective sections will also send the communications to the parents with the updates.

If at any time that you as a parent feel that it's unsafe for your child to attend the parade, do please keep him/her at home and inform the OIC and submit the leave form. We will also post the updates in our social media. Do please reach out to the OIC or Captain if you have any queries or need further information. Thank you.

Note: You and your child(ren) will be informed separately regarding the status of special programs like band, Pesta practices, etc by the respective OICs.

Note:
1) Please remember to bring your bible and sports attire. 
2) We will have a revised drill and game program.. wait for the announcement

4) Worship team, please note that there will be a 10 min Easter Devotion so we will cut down worship time by 10 min, Worship will be at 2nd Worship Hall in No.8 as the Lower Hall 22 will be used for the Easter set-up from 2pm onwards
5) Older NCOs helping out with Mdm Joyce, please bring your refreshment upstairs to start earlier with her 
6) Don't forget to bring your Survival Camp registration form and money!!! 
7) For those who have not yet paid the 2015 subscription of RM80, please do as this is the last call
8) Please submit your form and money for MPO and Bird Race on 2nd May
9) Breakfast with the Band - please RSVP to your squad leaders and to Cheryl if you have not yet done so!
